New York Vintage

I was checking the Weather Channel this morning, (when you live in Wisconsin you do that a lot) just to make sure how the weather was going to behave this week (the forecast doesn't look very good) and bumped into these amazing vintage photos of New York City under the snow. No matter how or when this city is photographed, it always looks to me like the greatest cities of all.

Have a good week and stay warm if you live around the areas where -winter storm Neptune- will hit.

Kindergarten

It seems we have finally found a school we really like for D. to start elementary school next fall. I know, it seems so early to start the process, but in order to pick the school we really wanted we needed to start this early. What a relief. What a big relief. We toured at least 10 schools in the last 2 months. In our district, out of our district, public schools and private schools, charter schools and whatever's left in the middle, and somehow there was always something that didn't click to me when touring all those schools. All of them -btw- with very high scores and super nice reviews, but still, there was something that didn't convince me. It happened the same to me when I was looking for preschools for D. two years ago. I visited many, until I went to one that felt right to me instantly, it felt right in my heart. Copenhagen

I've had this city in my mind for a while. Never been there, but every time I research about trips to Europe I bump into a Copenhagen article, link, photo and I get more and more interested and excited about this city.
