a few pretty pictures

It is usually -three pretty pictures- but I found 6 this morning that I really liked, inspired me and made my mind go to other places and latitudes. 6 pretty pictures. Happy Sunday.

Madison Public Library (downtown branch)

When we moved 2 1/2 years ago to Madison, this huge project started. And for more than 2 years we only saw demolitions, debries, a huge construction site and many many men working under the sun, the rain, the snow, the sun again. By the amount of people working on this project you knew it was going to be big, but honestly I never thoguht it was going to be so beautiful. The new branch in -downton Madison- of the Public Library is just a gem, what a beautiful piece of architecture and what an amazing taste involved on every single piece of furniture and art. I took my son yesterday and we focused on the children's area, which is unbelievably beautiful, but we took a look at the rest of the building as well and as we were touring the whole building I could only think -if I only had some time to spare once in a while I would come here and forget about the outside world-. Yes, yesterday another favorite place was born in the city. Take a look at some pictures. And if you live

Nature keeps its promise + and a few more things

It always amazes me how nature is capable to keep its promises. It doesn't lie or forget, on the contrary it always honors its promise to come back and show us how extraordinary it is and what beauty really means. At least, this is how I feel, every single year when Fall returns. I can't help it, its beauty amazes me every single time. And it is fall in Madison, colors changing, crisp air, pumpkins, asters and persimmon flowers everywhere, all happening right now, before our eyes. And my heart smiles. And talking about things that make me smile, here a beautiful fall-winter collection for kiddos and a beautiful house that looks like my happy place today........ Happy Sunday.  Happy week, healthy and peaceful.
