Most beautiful bookstores around the world

“A bookstore is one of the many pieces of evidence we have, that people are still thinking.”  J. Seinfeld.- These spaces make me take a big, deep breath and then smile. Enjoy them here San Francisco. City Lights. Netherlands. Boekhandel Dominicane. Buenos Aires. El Ateneo. Venezia. Alta Acqua. Los Angeles. The Last Bookstore.

New York Vintage

I was checking the Weather Channel this morning, (when you live in Wisconsin you do that a lot) just to make sure how the weather was going to behave this week (the forecast doesn't look very good) and bumped into these amazing vintage photos of New York City under the snow. No matter how or when this city is photographed, it always looks to me like the greatest cities of all. Have a good week and stay warm if you live around the areas where -winter storm Neptune- will hit. Enjoy these photos. source: http://www.weather.com/sports-recreation/news/vintage-new-york-snow-photos

A little valentine's birthday

The day I gave birth my child, I was reborn. There truly is a before and an after.  I can't believe that my little valentine is 6 today. I'm a proud mother. I'm thankful. I look up and give thanks for trusting me this amazing boy. Every time I look at this face right here I feel my heart is about to explode. And I wonder, how my love for this child can grow every second a little more if my heart is already exploding with love. Happy Birthday love. Happy Birthday little valentine. Good health, peace, smiles and God's love always. -mama.-

The weekend storm

I walked for at least 45 minutes around the arboretum this weekend, and the experience of being in the middle of a snow storm is just amazing. Everything feels clean and pure. The cold air makes you feel alive, the view is so gorgeous. It felt very peaceful.  I like snow. Have I said that before? Some pictures of this weekend’s storm.
