Summer

..... hair gets lighter ..... skin gets darker ..... water gets warmer ..... drinks get colder ..... music gets louder ..... nights get longer ..... life gets better In Madison, it is looking a lot like summer.

Quoting my 5 y/o

I would like to carry my recorder ON with me 24/7 and record my son's conversations. A 5 year old can really teach us many things about life, love, peace, friendship and how to laugh really hard. They are little geniuses.  Quoting my 5 year old.- "mama, no kisses please, they're bad for the environment" "mama, do you think I look like Anakin Skywalker?" -yes I do, love- "oh good, mama" "my heart loves you so much mama, NO WAIT, it doesn't love you, IT ADORES you" " I need to borrow two fingers from you" -what? what do you mean son?- "How am I supposed to complete ten plus two?" "Simon and Finn are coming Saturday for a play date" -are you excited, love? "it is the dream of my life, both of them together in my house" Dios te bendiga, amor de mi vida, crece sano y sabio.

The Glass Cabin

Today, this is my happy place. Have a healthy and peaceful weekend everyone.

The Olbrich

Since we moved to Madison, every year the wait for spring has become a very important event in my life. The cold, of course we go through the winters in this part of the planet makes you dream for spring to arrive real soon but also because the city transforms into such a beautiful place during the spring, packed with things to do and so pretty to see and explore. One of my first things to do, my MUST do when spring arrives is going the Olbrich Gardens. After picking up my kid at school and before going home for dinner we spent a couple of hours at the Olbrich this week. It is a visit that never disappoints us. BTW, kept by volunteers.
