Objects

Just objects? Is that what they really are? Or they become part of your life and could tell a little story of yourself? These are some of my everyday life objects, not just objects.

Vivian Maier, an American street photographer

Through the blog sweetfineday.com (which I love and follow on a daily basis) I read about this photographer named Vivian Maier, who I didn't know until this morning. I am so happy I found out about her, because I simply adore her work and that innocence she captured and shared in every single shot. I love all her pictures but I have to say that New York 1 and New York 2 are my favorite. Also, reading a little bit about her life made me like her even more. Here I'd like to share Maier's work with you all. http://www.vivianmaier.com/ photo by: Vivian Maier photo by: Vivian Maier photo by: Vivian Maier photo by: Vivian Maier photo by: Vivian Maier photo by: Vivian Maier photo by: Vivian Maier

Apple Orchards for the weekend

To me and my family going to a -pick your own fruit and vegetable- kind of farm is a whole new adventure and I'm in love with the idea. We are from South America, from a big big city, with lots of people, buildings, cars, chaos, you know the kind of chaos big cities bring into your life and so that makes us what I call ourselves -urban creatures-, very urban indeed. That said, we have for the very first time in our lives (even though we've lived in the US for almost eleven years) a big plan this weekend to go to a local Orchard to pick up ourselves beautiful apples. Let's see how it goes. some pictures from the web of local apple orchards in Wisconsin.

Me

As I said in one of my past posts, being the center of attention really makes me feel a little awkward, I don't like it, I am not that kind of person who enjoys to catch attention and that includes having my picture taken. It is so not me to pose for a picture, I get really self conscious and embarrassed, especially if other people are looking, but my husband and I had a date a few days ago and he wanted to take a picture of me (I added older pics too from other occasions) and I decided that it was OK -once in a while- to pose for a picture and to share them here, in my blog. I am trespassing my comfort zone here, this is a blog of things I like, not about showing pictures of myself, but that's also OK. This is me, well a little bit of me.
