Happy Thanksgiving

Healthy and Peaceful.

Christmas tree's up

It seems like every year Christmas arrives earlier. What about waiting 'till Thanksgiving is over? Oh well, in this house we did just that, we didn't wait until Thanksgiving was over. Too much pressure coming from D's side. He really wanted the tree up. Happy Holidays. Blessed. Healthy. Safe. Peaceful.

Giant Sequoias

Have you ever had the chance to stand next to a giant Sequoia? It is such an overwhelming experience. There, huge, strong, old, wise those trees stand with such pride yet so gentle and humble. When you get close to them it is almost like they want to hug you or give you their best smile. You feel loved, somehow protected. And they know stuff, and they have seen and heard so much. And they are so humble. I was thinking about my dad this morning, I think often about him, he doesn't know this, I haven't told him, but I think a lot about my old man. He is like a giant Sequoia. Huge, even though he is not big, wise, even though he is the simplest person I know. My husband asked me a few years ago, Who is the happiest person you know? My dad, I said. He is like a Sequoia. photo:  http://blissfulbblog.com/

Snow

“Snow falling soundlessly in the middle of the night will always fill my heart with sweet clarity”   It is snowing in Madison. Happy Friday.

di·no·saurs

di·no·saur noun 1 . a fossil reptile of the Mesozoic era, often reaching an enormous size. So, they came to Madison, and we went to see them this morning. The place extremely dark, that's why these photos look so weird. The exhibition a little pricey too. But D. loved it and he is very much into DInosaurs right now. So, I would say it was worth it. A good plan, for a very -not good- weather.

Happiness

and Fridays have a lot to do with this. Happy Friday.

Baby, it's cold outside

It was a little warmer last year around this same time. I have a very good memory for that kind of stuff, and yes, it is colder this year and let me tell you it is just fall, winter hasn't showed up yet. But, if there's anything I love about cold weather is the clothes I can wear, all the layers and how I can combine them. Especially boots, I looooove boots. Here some outfits and winter accesories I bumped into that I really like, stay warm!!!

and November arrived, WHAT?

Unbelievable that the end of the year is so close. Halloween is gone, Whaaaat? and we are getting ready for Thanksgiving. Big stores and shopping malls are putting up Christmas decorations and I can't believe that time flies this way, Could we slow it down a little? When we get to this point in the year, it is just a matter of a few weeks, the countdown starts and another year goes and a new one comes. We sent Santa's letter already :) I was looking at some pictures the other day from when Diego was born, 4 1/2 years ago, and looking at him right now it seems unreal that my little baby is in 4k and I am touring already elementary schools for next fall. Time really flies and before we start seeing snow I want to share these colorful fall pictures from the weekend. Happy Tuesday.

The Time Changed

Yes, the time changed and that means very short days and long nights, which it can be a little depressing to me. And even though fall is peaking right now in Madison, you can tell that winter, for sure is making its way toward the city, oh well. I found these few pictures that remind me that I am a winter lover, so between the little light and the cold I don't get so depressed. Winter is pretty, yes it is. Have a good week, healthy and peaceful. Mine is going to be busy busy.
