Want them all!!!

A friend shared with me these images and I am sharing back. Take a look at this awesome selection of furniture and objects for kids. My favorite one: The puzzle bed.

The long weekend

It is always nice when we get a few days to relax and not to think about crazy mornings, breakfast, lunch box, running late for work and school. But, RELAX? Really? to be 100% honest, every single weekend or long weekend or any kind of break/vacation, I feel this crazy pressure that we need to do something, we need to take D. somewhere, we need to do stuff, otherwise he will be bored and we won't give him enough opportunities to explore and see new things. Is that really true? I don't think  so, it is just me, just us, mamas, putting on our shoulders more pressure than we should, he is super happy when we stay home and he gets to watch a movie or just play play play all day long. BUT, so far and talking about breaks, it has been a very nice long weekend. We went to the Brat Fest, we took D. to the Fair, we went to Milwaukee and explored new places we didn't know and today -hopefully- we'll relax and have some new friends over for dinner. I hope you are enjoying this

it's Friday again

not only that, but right now, while I'm writing this teeny tiny post, the sun is up, the sky is as blue as it can get and it's only 6:30 in the morning, probably my favorite time of the day. All quiet, all calm, my boys are still sleeping and I am sipping my first cup of coffee. It smells like coffee and summer.  Happy long weekend. Healthy and safe.

Happy -almost- Friday

I've been gone from my blog for too long. Really really busy around here. No time. But I'll be back soon, very soon. In the meantime, happy almost Friday/ Happy almost long weekend.

only after (an early mother's day post)

only after having my own child I was finally able to understand the kind of love my mother felt for my sisters and for me. only after having my own child I was able to finally put my feet in her shoes and understand. Happy mothers day, to my mom and to every single woman out there whose heart explodes every single time they look into their kids eyes.
