My crazy love from San Francisco is not a secret to anyone who knows me -or reads me here-. The city I adore from the very bottom of my heart, just to say the least. Well, I don't want to annoy anyone again with my repetitive stories about the time I spent there, and how I fell in love with San Fran at first sight when I moved there, etc., but instead, I will share this amazing link and photos of San Francisco during the 40's and 50's and so no words needed, these images really are worth a thousand million words.
It seems we have finally found a school we really like for D. to start elementary school next fall. I know, it seems so early to start the process, but in order to pick the school we really wanted we needed to start this early. What a relief. What a big relief. We toured at least 10 schools in the last 2 months. In our district, out of our district, public schools and private schools, charter schools and whatever's left in the middle, and somehow there was always something that didn't click to me when touring all those schools. All of them -btw- with very high scores and super nice reviews, but still, there was something that didn't convince me. It happened the same to me when I was looking for preschools for D. two years ago. I visited many, until I went to one that felt right to me instantly, it felt right in my heart.
