things I like

I took this picture a few days ago. I see these trees every morning when I arrive to my office and every afternoon when I leave. I pass by and take a look at them, almost like saying -hello you guys-.  I have these fascination for trees and of course for fall, who doesn't anyways. These guys get to a point every fall that they can really take your breath away just by looking at them when driving by. The day I took this picture there was a very thick fog in the background and the contrast was out of this world. I stood there, under one of them and just smiled. I think I will print this photo, frame it and put it in a place where I can see it often. Some unexpected and amazing weather around this latitudes right now, thankful for that. My crazy love from San Francisco is not a secret to anyone who knows me -or reads me here-. The city I adore from the very bottom of my heart, just to say the least. Fall madness is on. I can't help it, I love this season. I can't stop taking pictures, one after another. Those colors. They really are the greatest colors nature offers. Like a tinge of nostalgia, like a reminder that nature's promises do not fail us. Hope it could last longer.

This is what I always tell my son and my husband. No matter where we are, where we go, as long as I am with both of you, I will be home. And talking about home, I found this morning all these amazingly inspiring images on my pinterest board: home . Incredible spaces. Weather has been amazing too in Madison. Low 60's upper 50"s and gorgeous blue skies. Full of Autumn colors all over town. My body and mind find perfect balance in this kind of weather/season.
