Since I've being complaining so much about weather lately, I just wanted to share the good news: It is here, actually spring is here.

but spring arrived to Madison. Today for the very first time it feels nice and warm after a very long winter. Happy :) Have a nice week everyone.

I've gotten to the conclusion that kids are geniuses. They are the ones who teach us stuff. They come to our lives to open our eyes and make us understand the world in a deeper, better and a more beautiful way. Quoting my 4 years old. 1. mama: D. please, listen to me when I talk, you don't listen baby. D: I'm a kid mama, I am not supposed to listen. 2. D: I need to pee mama, hurry, I need to peeeeeeeee..........oh that was a long pee, just like California. 3. D: mama, I have decided that I'm going green. mama: really baby? Why? D: I need to save the earth. Te amo mi chiquito. Dios te bendiga.

15 nice, fun and easy (even free) activities to enjoy with my D during Spring. go to the zoo. always fun and free in our city. go to a botanical garden. also free in Madison, and kept beautifully by volunteers. go to the children's museum. we have an amazing, little children's museum in the city. we adore it. go shopping together. FUN. not free :( try different play grounds. not always the one close to our house. go to the art museum. even though sometimes it is not a good idea for a 4 year old.  go to the lake. we love the lake. cannot swim in it until summer though. sidewalk chalk parties. FUN and FREE. have cupcake dates. D's favorite. go to the farmers market. every Saturday until fall. beautiful flowers. amazing food. good walk. take an art class with my boy. really looking forward to this. take a spin on any of the city's carousels. the one at the zoo is pretty cool and just $1. go to lego land. 2

Since spring refuses to arrive this year around here, I need to start creating spring inside my house. Some flowers here, some nice plants there. Some ideas on what plants I would like to get. Happy Sunday!!!
