things I like

Here in Madison, WI it is fall and it is cold outside. Fall and all its pretty colors are tinging the streets of the city with tons of different tones and they're making me feel very inspired. The sun appears and disappears many times a day, playfully, just to remind us that winter is coming no matter what and days will be shorter. Nature keeps its promise and its balance and I love to watch it.

When someone you really love comes to visit, you just want to stop the time. You don't want them to leave. But I don't know how to stop the time, I wish I could, I wish I knew how to do such a thing. I'm enjoying my mom and D is enjoying his grandma so much. We fight, mothers and daughters fight, but we love each other deeply as well and the only thing I want right now is to break all the clocks in the planet and simply stop the time so she can never leave. These are some pictures of a visit to the botanical garden here in Madison, with my mom and my son.

If I could choose where exactly I would like to live that would certainly be a loft on an old industrial building somewhere in New York City, hmmmmmm just by writing it I get in a better mood, daydreaming anyways. The idea of very open spaces, high ceilings, exposed brick walls, that cold but cool industrial feeling makes me salivate, the same way I do in front of a chocolate cake.
