Milwaukee, WI

Every single time we go to Milwaukee I come back thinking the same: what a very nice and underestimated/underrated city this is. You never hear much about Milwaukee, really, and when you do, somehow they are not nice comments. I beg to differ, I like Milwaukee a lot, maybe it's the city-girl part of me coming out once more, but seriously some spots around Milwaukee are incredibly cool, some old downtown buildings are just beautiful, food is awesome, lots of museums and interesting things happening all year round, and that industrial feeling the city preserves, it's simply way too cool, probably the #1 reason why I like it so much. We spent our whole Saturday in Milwaukee, we visited some new places we hadn't in past visits, and here some pictures that actually show what Im trying to say. Nice city.

a catalog, a proud mama and some vulnerability as well.

D. and a bunch of other very sweet kids were part of a super cool project that ended up with the production of a couple of shoe catalogs for a local -Wisconsin- company. The photos turned out so cute. All the kids looked so beautiful and professional. The photographer and his crew had a lot to do with it. They chose great locations around the city and some indoor photos as-well, which were the ones D. was part of. I've been wanting to share these photos for a few days now, but then I change my mind and feel that I shouldn't expose my kid in a blog. And then again go back to the idea that -why not-? they are beautiful photos and this is my personal blog, and my kid. And then again I go back and forth and back and forth and back and forth forever........ Anyways, Im sharing a few of my favorite ones here. Can't promise that I won't take them down if vulnerability and fear kicks in. Which always does, when it comes to social media and my son. We'll see.
