The weekend

Out and enjoying the fresh air (kind of cold i should say). Going back to the places we can't go in the city during the winter. This is Wingra Park, a favorite place since we moved to Madison (4 years ago) and a coffee break around that same neighborhood. A new week ahead and March flying away. Happy week, healthy and happy.

#tbt

As a #tbt today I found some very awesome pictures of our visit to Paris a few years ago. For some reason while I was looking at all those pictures of the City of Light this morning I remembered going in that same trip to one of the most beautiful Coffee Places I have ever seen in my life, and it happened to be a Starbucks, in Paris, France. I found these pictures online of that place I remembered today. Unfortunately I didnt take photos  of the place myself.

Peace

May my country find peace, once and for all. May justice prevail. May goodness and sanity return soon to my land. I'm far away, but my heart aches for you Venezuela.

The one who lives in NY

I have noticed that when I talk about my dear and talented friend Ivelise to someone who does not know her, that's how I call her: My friend, the one who lives in New York. Well, these amazing pictures belong to her, to my good friend who lives in NY. They are street photos, the kind I like the best, plus from New York City, so my very favorite kind. Ivelise, probably just does what everybody else does in New York City on a daily basis, she walks, but she grabs a camera while walking and commuting and captures daily images that are either very beautiful or very powerful. I feel she really captures the soul of NYC. I hope she realizes that she needs a blog or a website to collect them all and share them to the world. I would be fan #1. I actually am. Enjoy her photos. Her Instagram account with more of these beauties.

A love affair

my ongoing love affair, I should say. Happy weekend. Blessed and peaceful. In Madison, Spring is on its way. Temps in the 50's next week.

Madison

This is the city where we live. I must say that winters in this part of the world are pretty tough but I also believe they help develop mental toughness and help also get rid of that wimpy state of mind sometimes we fall into. We are waiting for you spring, hurry. In the meantime here's to Madison, a very pretty city.
