Last week

Last week I celebrated my birthday. I got to do a few things I like to do, but that I don't usually have the time to do.  Walk alone. A manicure. A little shopping. Sitting down and do nothing. I also blew out  some candles (a lot of them) and ate my favorite food @ my favorite restaurant.  I had an amazing cake (actually 2 of them) and the love of the people I love. I am grateful to God for another year and I wish for many more years to come, because I want to see my boy grow up and become the amazing man he'll be one day. I also wish to grow older with the man I love, the one accompanying me in this journey. Good health and peace, that's all I wish. capitol bakery made this cake for me. Thank you David.

fall+back to school+kids fashion

a few trees around town are starting to change colors and even though it still feels like summer and it looks like summer we know that when that starts it means fall is arriving, little by little but getting closer. My brain though is not ready for that. I love fall -who doesn't- but I want summer to last as long as possible this year. Back to school is also all over. TV commercials, stores, catalogs, meetings at school. So it is happening, fall is coming soon. some kids fashion from my pinterest board: kids. fall and back to school fashion for kids.

Third Wave Coffee

Since I am a huge coffee lover, this article  from Dwell Magazine inspired me lots. Not only because of the beauty of each and every of these coffee houses but also because of the commitment of these places to produce high quality, delicious coffee. I picked a few in San Francisco, CA (of course). Enjoy these images of amazingly well designed coffee places. source for both, pictures and inspiration on this post: Dwell Magazine .

August 6 1999

a day like today in 1999 I moved to the US for the first time. I arrived to San Francisco, CA and my love affair with that city started right away. I can't believe it's been 15 years. Sweet, sweet memories.

Old warehouses. New homes.

These are a few former warehouses converted into amazing new homes. I see these spaces and I salivate. The open rooms. The old windows, the very high ceilings. The beams and exposed bricks. Enjoy these images.

Children's rooms

Some magical rooms for our little ones is today's inspiration. If you take a close look at these spaces, you'll notice lots of creativity but not necessarily lost of money to make them look awesome. Enjoy!!! Happy Friday. Good health and peace everyone.
