Three pretty pictures

and a very happy Thursday. (it's almost Friday).

Chicago

We spend at least 4 weekends a year in Chicago. We don’t go for too long every time we go, so we try to squeeze our time out there, on each visit. This time we did something different. We visited for the very first time the Navy Pier  and we took the ferry and toured Chicago’s skyline for about 40 minutes. We really enjoyed it. The weather cooperated, no too hot, nice breeze. It was Diego’s first time on a boat. So many things to do, so diverse. Love Chicago, what an amazing city!!! Some of our favorite pictures of the weekend.

Nature

Happy week

just that.

a few of my favorite

Probably these are my 5 favorite spots in the city. Depending on the weather, I can visit them more or less, but they stay my favorite spots all year round. - downtown madison. many restaurants, shops, coffee places and people from all over the world to look at. Downtown Madison is really a little gem. - the olbrich gardens. just an amazing botanical garden. free and beautiful right across from Monona lake. - The Capitol building. A beautiful piece of architecture we have in the heart of the city. Inside and outside just an awesome building. - The Children's museum. A wonderful and always fun museum for the kiddos that operates in a beautiful building right downtown. - Maple Bluff park. A tiny park inside one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. An awesome view of downtown, a playground and a little beach make this place magical. I'll keep sharing. Have an awesome rest of the week. Healthy and peaceful.

summer+friends+life

I say this a lot, but I will say it again. -Nature keeps its promise- always, and on every single change of season I am thankful for that. And summer is for sure one of nature's most wonderful promises. After our last winter here in Madison, I feel like I need to soak up all the sunlight available and if possible store some in little containers under my bed. It was brutal, but then again, summer is here. We are trying to be out A LOT, a lot. My friend, my very good friend I should say, came two weeks ago from far away to be with us a few days and to be my son's Godmother. It was such a short visit but a great one. D fell in love with her (they had never met before) and for 5 days we had a lot of fun, she made us very happy. Amazing photos from that day (Baptism day) are coming up, soon. Life is busy right now. Lots of work in the office and juggling between all that work and my priorities, which always are at home. No time to exercise, no time to read more, cook more o
