Cambridge-WI

A -teeny, tiny, town- very close to Madison. Our outing for today Sunday. Have a good week. Healthy and Peaceful..... and don't freak out but October's almost gone and only 65 days 'til the end of the year.

Copenhagen

I've had this city in my mind for a while. Never been there, but every time I research about trips to Europe I bump into a Copenhagen article, link, photo and I get more and more interested and excited about this city. In pictures it just looks like the kind of city I like. Here my inspiration for today Friday, a few photos of gorgeous Copenhagen. All photos by: littlescandinavian.com  (one of my favorite blogs). Happy weekend. Healthy and peaceful.

Tea people vs. Coffee people

So, is there even such thing as -tea people or coffee people? It seems like the answer is yes, there is. In this post , they talk about how you are -either one or the other- but not likely both of them, like parallel lines that won't touch or cross each other EVER. I don't agree 100% with the definition given to each personality in t his post , but let's say a 90%? I should add that I am a coffee drinker, a coffee lover, a coffee addict, a coffee enthusiast and all the above and no plans around here to stop drinking it. The only time in my life I was able to stop was while pregnant with my son Diego, then and only then and because of my son I did stop drinking coffee, the whole pregnancy. If you are a tea or a coffee drinker and concerned about health issues related with both, you might want to check this article as well. Read up friends and let's see if you agree: Have an awesome rest of the weekend. Healthy and peaceful.

Capitol Bakery

David, my co-worker and friend owns with his family this amazing bakery called: Capitol Bakery, based in Madison, WI and online operated. Everything these guys make is fantastic, everything. Their cakes are amazing and their cupcakes -oh my God. My favorite though: Biscottis, they are -out of this world good-.  He uses only local ingredients that he carefully picks every Saturday from our awesome farmers market in downtown Madison and you can tell by the flavor and how fresh everything tastes. Check their website out and call David for your Holiday orders. (We talked about pies yesterday). www.CapitolBakery.com

you are my wild

A blog that documents how 14 photographers -from all over- see their children through their cameras. Beautiful, enjoy. source: http://www.youaremywild.wordpress.com/

Through D. lens

My friend Claudia and I -finally- got together a few days ago after some unsuccessful attempts. We had coffee and a lot of catching up and it was really a pleasure as always is to see her and talk to her about life. Diego went with us to our coffee date and since he was really bored and not interested at all about what we were saying, he spent the whole time taking pictures. Here a few. Do you see a raw talent here, I do :)  he's just 4. Oh wait I'm the mama, of course a I do. Have an amazing Saturday. Healthy and peaceful.

a beautiful wedding

It had been a while since last time a remember going to such a touching wedding, more than a wedding actually, a beautiful proclamation of love. And this past weekend we spent our whole Sunday between getting ready (which is never easy in this house) and celebrating with our friends their decision to be together for the rest of their lives. The setting was just astonishing, the decoration so simple and pretty, people looked beautiful, loving and so involved with the celebration, and the couple, well, that's probably a different post, such a special couple, very special souls. I cried a lot, from the beginning to the very end of the ceremony. But I cry at weddings, and to be honest, after having Diego something happened to my lacrimal ducts, I cry even more now days than before, maybe hormones never went back to normal :) I'm so happy we were there this past Sunday, I'm happy not just us but Diego was part of it too. He asked me actually, Mama, why are we here? I said, it
